Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab — MFSL 1-034

Night Moves was recorded primarily at the Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California in 1976. The album was produced by Bob Seger and Jack Richardson, with engineer Tene Vosbein handling much of the technical work. The recording sessions captured Seger's band live in the studio to maximize the energy and cohesion of the Silver Bullet Band's sound. Notable for its straightforward, rock-oriented approach, the album utilized analog recording techniques standard to the mid-1970s. Released in November 1976, Night Moves became one of the best-selling albums of the decade and established Seger as a major force in American rock music.
