The Wall was recorded between November 1978 and July 1979 at Super Soundstage Studios in Los Angeles, with additional sessions at other facilities. The album was produced by Bob Ezrin alongside Pink Floyd members David Gilmour and Roger Waters, who co-wrote the material.
