For Your Pleasure, Roxy Music's second album, was recorded in 1973 at Multiple Man Studios in London under the direction of producer Chris Thomas, who would become known for his work with The Sex Pistols and other influential acts. The album featured enhanced studio production compared to the band's debut, with greater emphasis on synthesizer textures and sonic experimentation, largely facilitated by Brian Eno's work on the VCS3 and other electronic instruments. Recording engineer John Leckie, who later became a renowned producer himself, contributed to capturing the band's increasingly sophisticated sound during this period.
