Merge Records — MRG595

Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is the fifth studio album by American rock band Spoon, released in 2007. The album was recorded at various studios including the band's own ESP studio in Austin, Texas, with primary production by the band's frontman Britt Daniel alongside Rob Schnapf. The recording sessions incorporated a stripped-down, guitar-driven approach that marked a return to the band's roots after the more experimental direction of previous work. The album was engineered and mixed by John Congleton, who became a key collaborator for the band's sonic aesthetic. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga received critical acclaim and achieved significant commercial success, becoming the band's most popular album and establishing their sound for subsequent decades.
