Lonerism, the second studio album by Tame Impala (Kevin Parker), was recorded primarily in Parker's home studio in Los Angeles between 2011 and 2012, following the massive success of Innerspeaker. The album featured a notable shift toward synthesizer-driven psychedelic pop production compared to its guitar-heavy predecessor, with Parker utilizing layered vocal harmonies and electronic textures as central compositional elements.
