The production employed extensive use of synthesizers, drum machines, and digital manipulation techniques, reflecting Yorke's deep engagement with electronic music production. The project was notably influenced by a collaborative performance piece of the same name that premiered at the Berlin Festival in 2019, which influenced the sonic direction.
