ANIMA is the second solo album by Thom Yorke, released in June 2019. The album was primarily produced by Yorke alongside Nigel Godrich, his longtime collaborator, with additional production work by Fourtet (Kieran Hebden). Recording took place across multiple studios including RAK Studios in London and other locations, with sessions occurring in 2018 and early 2019. Godrich's involvement brought his characteristic production aesthetic while Fourtet contributed electronic and compositional elements that shaped the album's experimental direction. The album features prominent use of synthesizers, unconventional song structures, and layered vocal processing, reflecting Yorke's continued exploration of electronic and ambient textures begun in previous solo projects.
